THE SHOWCASE DATABASE:
PURPOSE:
The Gem Project’s showcases are displays about particular issues that affect our community and young people in general. The showcase displays are featured at various institutions for up to a week and usually complement a particular program. Effective Spring 2010, registered chapters will be given the option to have their own showcase display. They will also be encouraged to map their own desired circulation base. It is our intent to run our highly colored large displays at several institutions. We find that our displays not only grab the attention of young adults and children, but they also educate them on the pressing issues at hand.
